Music is widely regarded as an art form that brings people together. How does it manage to do this, when every human experience is unique? Lucy’s teaching philosophy is based around the idea that storytelling is what makes music the most impactful. That is what makes music something that people can resonate with, and when a singer can approach songs from that perspective foundationally, they will give the most authentic and powerful performances.

 

Lucy Stearns is a theatrical performer that inspires personal and introspective growth through her vulnerable, truthful storytelling. Musical theater is her specialty, though she also has experience in pop, jazz, classical, and indie folk genres. She received her Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in 2025, majoring in Professional Music with concentrations in Musical Theater Performance and Music Business.

 

Through technical vocal work, and performance and acting skills, Lucy wants to encourage her students to sing from a place of earnestness, that helps them connect to both the music and their audience alike.
