Lucy began her vocal journey during elementary school when she began participating in her school’s theater program. After years of performing throughout middle school, she began taking formal voice lessons in eighth grade through a private voice studio, and her passion grew immensely. As she strengthened her instrument, she also became more interested in becoming more versatile as a singer. During her first two years at Berklee College of Music, she participated in concert choir, and a ten-person vocal jazz choir, in an effort to expand her knowledge of voice. She then discovered the musical theater clubs at Berklee, and immediately became involved as much as possible. She rediscovered how much her love of performance was grounded in this genre, and she knew that she wanted to make musical theater performance a part of her major.
Alongside her performance pursuits, Lucy developed a growing interest in teaching and leadership. She became a board member of SuperHuman Arts and began studying private voice, ultimately declaring a Professional Music major with concentrations in Musical Theater Performance and Music Business, and a minor in Musical Theater Performance.
Lucy is enthusiastic about both national and international possibilities for her career. She plans to move to New York, to pursue performing and private voice lessons. When she is not performing, Lucy loves doing puzzles, crocheting, or watching extreme sports documentaries (yep).
